We had a wonderful experience at Uncle Bill’s! We visited on Mother’s Day, so it was understandably busy. Despite that, we were surprised to be seated right away, even though they told us there would be a 15–20 minute wait when we called ahead! The food and coffee were fantastic (the pancakes were divine, of course). They even gave me a flower for Mother’s Day, which was such a sweet touch! Our waitress was sweet, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Thank you for making our breakfast so special! We will definitely be back

Uncle Bill's hasn't changed and only more efficient! We had barely any wait times for a table, got seated, and breakfast came out in 10mins. Pancakes are always a must have!

For the locals, no review is really needed as Uncle Bill's has been a favorite for decades. For those visiting Cape May, this restaurant is a must for a family-friendly breakfast! You can't beat the casual atmosphere and the food is always fresh, hot and there are so many great choices! Fluffy pancakes, French toast, meats, eggs, delicious beverages and so much more. The stars for me were the scrapple (crunchy outside and soft inside), the fresh squeezed orange juice (store bought can't possibly compare) and my breakfast sandwich on the port muffin - so good ! Pro-trip: arrive as early as you can because once the crowd rolls in, you will have to wait! Visit every morning you're in town!

Really enjoyed breakfast here - large menu selection, good food, friendly staff, nearby the beach, and lots of parking. Would come again definitely. It's a family diner, very casual atmosphere.

We come from a former USSR country (Uzbekistan) and grew up watching American movies where diners often appeared. For us, they’ve always been associated with America — with cozy family gatherings over Sunday breakfast. And this diner turned out to be exactly that for us. It was cozy and comfortable. The atmosphere is a solid 10 out of 10. Even the waitresses — their style and overall vibe — reminded me of girls from the 70s. Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but I really loved that. Their menu is very extensive. The freshly squeezed orange juice was divine, although a bit pricey — but that’s expected for fresh juices. The service was excellent. I was very happy with our waitress. It’s nice when staff proactively let you know about things like the strawberries on the pancakes being frozen rather than fresh. That’s totally fine, but I’m sure it could matter to some people. For example, I changed my mind after that and went with the blueberry pancakes instead. And they were amazing. I even took the leftovers with me to our room and enjoyed them again in the evening. I also highly recommend the sweet potato fries. The only thing that wasn’t great was the coffee. It tasted like it was too diluted and not strong enough. Another downside for me was the strong smell in the women’s restroom. I always pay attention to the cleanliness of restrooms in restaurants — to me, it’s also a reflection of the overall quality of the place. However I understand how hard it may be for the staff to keep restrooms fresh throughout the day in such a busy place.

I stopped by for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The sausages were really flavorful, and I loved that the toast was actually buttered — such a small touch, but it made a big difference! The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes and taste. They also prepared my food in under five minutes, which was amazing! I also noticed that the servers seemed to be local high school students, which added a really sweet and friendly vibe to the whole experience. Overall, it felt like a cozy, welcoming spot with great food, quick service, and a lot of local charm. I’d definitely come back!

This location is very busy and bustling during the summer, even during the week. Great hot pancakes served quickly. Free parking lot for pancake eaters. This location did not offer the shaved home fries ( what we call hashbrowns) Similar menu to the other locations, but not identical.

The old fashioned American brew place. With nice atmosphere and very good and kind, friendly service as fast. The pancakes was delicious I got special breakfast with 3 huge blueberry pancakes, overst egg and turkey bacon. Good for fast and American style experience breakfast
